A beautiful sixteenth century palace offering fifteen rooms with a romantic atmosphere.

Refined without being pretentious, Palazzo Abadessa seems to reflect Venetian good taste. It's a ^16th-century residence with a white façade and green shutters, set at the foot of the Santa Sofia Canal, 600 meters from the Rialto Bridge. The fifteen or so comfortable rooms are enveloped in a cloud of romance. Period furnishings, Persian rugs, Murano glass chandeliers, ceiling frescoes and polychrome marble floors sublimate the communal lounges. A journey through time. Hearty continental breakfast.

Très bel hôtel datant du 18 ème siècle situé dans le Cannaregio. Une façade donne sur un rio l'autre sur un jardin privatif où l'on peut prendre le petit déjeuner et se reposer. Décor chaleureux. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et très varié. Il y en a pour tous les goûts. Personnel très accueillant. Vraiment un excellent souvenir.

Absolutely beautiful ambiance of the place - very convenient location - walkable distance to every attraction you name it, but at the same time so quiet and peaceful - luxury amenities - delicious breakfast buffet - croissants with pistachio cream are the life changing experience!!!!! - Luca is very helpful and welcoming! Thank you for making my birthday experience one of the best moments of my life

The hotel is located in a narrow street, which is very common in Venice. It’s very charming. The staff are very nice. Free breakfast is great. The garden is nice as well. Overall very quiet but close to a main street so pretty close to restaurants and stores. We took the Alilaguna (shared water taxi) from the airport. Ticket was 15 Euro for one way. From the Alilaguna stop at Foundamente Nuevo to the hotel it was a 10 minutes walk. To get to the rail station we took the Vaporetto a couple of blocks away. Took a bit over 10 minutes ride.
