We love the charm of this old-fashioned wood-panelled patisserie, a veritable haunt for the locals of San Polo. You'll see them flocking here, especially on Sundays after mass, to buy their lunchtime cake. The chocolate and marzipan specialities are excellent. During Carnival, the shop windows are filled with frittelle and chiacchiere. A small counter inside invites you to taste on the spot, where you can also enjoy one of Venice's best hot chocolates.
