In the district of Sant'Ambrogio, in front of the market, the elegant and authentic bistro Gilda offers a typical Florence cuisine, closely following the seasons. The welcome is warm, by Gilda herself, the mistress of the place. The recipes and cooking are precisely mastered: you will have to taste the pappa al pomodoro, a truly Tuscan dish. In fine weather, it is pleasant to have lunch on the terrace, but be careful, the tables are quickly taken over. The menu is in Italian, please do not hesitate to ask for advice.

Sensationell! Großzügig: Ausgezeichneter, typischer Antipasto offeriert (Foto 1). Hochoriginelles Dekor, alles vom Flohmarkt/Mercato nebenan. Tolles Lokalkolorit und familiäre Ambiance: Essen bei Gilda lohnt einen grösseren Umweg!

A must do. I can’t believe this place exists! Anything lower than 5 stars does not do it justice. Hand written menus, great atmosphere, truly authentic cuisine. I’m so happy we had a meal here!
