Located just a stone's throw from Piazza della Libertà and Piazza Savonarola, this restaurant is ultra-popular, and not without reason: many say it serves the best steak alla fiorentina in the country. Yes, you read that right! Served on ceramic plates, the tender meat is presented either tagliata (sliced) or Florentine-style, with a choice of variations. Portions are generous! Please note: reservations are not possible, and the wait can be long, but we assure you, it's worth it!

Fantastic carnivore heaven for the Florentine steak, served with a magnum of Chiante. Friendly and responsive staff and a good show prepping/cutting/plating the steak. Sort of off the beaten path, with eclectic decor, but a favorite of ours in Firenze.

Chiamo alle 13.00 per prenotare per cena mi dicono che non è necessario che c’è posto. Richiamo alle 20 per confermare che sarò lì in pochi minuti. Mi dicono che in qualche modo mi sistemano arrivo e c’ è da aspettare un ‘ora con arroganza e maleducazione!
