Convent, stables, and now a historic Florentine restaurant, Antico Ristoro is famous for its bistecca alla fiorentina.
From convent to stables to restaurant, the Antico Ristoro was born in 1950 when Silvano and Bruno opened the Fiaschetteria Cambi, serving wine and cold meats. Times have changed, and the menu has expanded. Appetizers and bistecca alla fiorentina are served on wooden platters. Traditional Tuscan primi such as ribollita or tagliatelle al cinghiale are also on the menu. Tripe Florentine style is a delight. The cellar offers a hundred or so labels. For dessert, we recommend tiramisu, ice cream or the daily special.
