We travelled 6500 kms to get an authentic taste of Italian Pizza. We were lucky enough to find this eatery very close to Piazza Michelangelo.

First of all, the hostess gave us a warm welcome and helped us get comfortable. She gave us time to go through the menu and guided us to the best pizza as per our requirement. She was always very courteous and made sure we were enjoying. This spirit was also shown by the host. This couple runs this small eatery and their pizzas are one of the best we had till date.

We had Margarita and Atomic pizzas. One pizza is enough for a person for lunch or dinner unless you have been fasting for a while.

Margarita is a good choice if you are not unsure about which pizza to order. Atomic is slightly spicy with less cheese, which was what we desired, this pizza is a highlight of the eatery.

Pizzas are absolutely fresh, the base is crispy and warm. The toppings are provided in the right amount and you don’t feel like your mouth is stuffed with cheese as is what happens while trying ordinary pizzas. They have some special pizzas and drinks of your choice as well.

The hostess gives some complimentary sweets while presenting the check, which is a nice touch.

These guys are passionate about their work. My strong recommendation of you are around Piazza Michelangelo in Florence.

My best wishes to the lady and her husband. Grazie !

Best pizza, freshest ingredients, made with love ❤️ - my advice: go there during the first days of your time in Firenze because you will definitely want to return! Had the delicious tartufo and buffalo mozzarella and spitfire pizzas, perfetto!!!

We came here because of the great ratings but I honestly don't really understand the enthusiasm. This was definitely the most disappointing pizza I've had in Italy for the past few weeks, and my partner is Italian.

It wasn't that bad but or 11-15 euros I really hoped for more flavor. The waitress was very friendly but there was no toilet available. You could get a beer to go for 6 euros in order to use the bathroom nextdoor, which made the overall dinner more expensive than we thought it was worth. I guess many people (overwhelmingly, tourists) like the pizzas here but it was definitely one of my least favorite meals here.

EDIT: the staff seemed nice but after receiving a very sour response on my 3 stars (and seeing some of their others) I realize perhaps more people might not be so enthousiastic about this place but don't think it's worth reviewing this place with the risk of being bullied in response. Very unprofessional and immature. I wonder what they do to people who give less than 3 stars.

Amazing food! We had the Margherita DOP, Spitfire and the Sole di Firenze. All were incredible. Between the two of us, we finished all of them because they were so good. Quick service and such a sweet family business with nice area to sit inside. Highly recommend.

Whenever I visit Florence, I always make sure to stop by here and order their Honeymoon pizza - the one with truffle and honey. It’s my absolute favorite! Don’t forget to try their homemade wine too. You could even grab a second bottle and enjoy it atop Piazzale Michelangelo for a truly memorable experience.

This is a hidden gem in the San Niccolò neighborhood of Florence. The pizzas are outstanding and should be on any food lover’s tour of Florence. The owner spoke with us about his process and even shared his tips (and showed us) his sourdough starter and the type of flour he uses. Also try the Dolomiti beer on tap. This will be a pizza we talk about for a long time.

Best pizza we had during our eight days in Italy, and we ate a lot of pizza. Sauce is incredibly fresh. Crust is crisp. This is not a full-service restaurant, but they're happy to give you what you need to eat on a few tables inside.

We were in Italy for two weeks and this Margherita DOP was the best pizza we had on the trip. It was a cozy little place, and popular too. Several parties came in to find it full, and were waiting outside for a table to open up. If there is a table available, grab it. Expect paper plates and a simple table setting, and the best pizza on your vacation. Worth the price.

This is the absolute best pizza. We had the spicy salami and the arugula Parmesan. When we arrived, a friendly staff member lead us to a table and explained the pizza here is similar to street food in that there isn’t a bathroom and we ate off paper plates. This makes it the best and super affordable! We will absolutely come back before we leave Florence.

The worst pizza ever, the dough was burnt at the bottom and uncooked in the crust! The ingredients were not good at all. You can have a way better pizza with same price in other restaurants.

Tiny pizza place but excellent pizza. Back home we normally avoid cheese/dairy, wheat, and my husband always avoids nightshades/tomatoes but we’re being more flexible here trying things out as we understand they don’t use roundup or do to food what is done to our food back in the states so that it seems not to cause the digestive issues we’d experience if we ate like this back home. It is also a bit away from the super crazy crowds.

We fell in love with this pizza while spending a couple of months in Florence. There’s something for everyone… I tried a different vegetarian pie each of the five times we were there and they were all delicious. My favorite was the Positano. Our 3 year old ate an entire Margherita pie in one sitting!

On a spontaneous visit on a Monday evening, we were warmly welcomed into this charming spot without a reservation during dinner hours. The ambiance felt like stepping into a cozy home away from home. The place was filled with mostly tourists, exchanging travel stories and tips about Florence and Italy.

Upon the owner's recommendation, we indulged in the "honeymoon" pizza, which was an absolute delight, especially for truffle lovers. Their suggestion of a white wine pairing elevated the experience, perfectly complementing the flavors of the pizza. Overall, it was a truly delightful evening filled with great food, wonderful company, and lovely stories.

It's hard for me to look past the fact that I had to use disposable silverware, paper plates and I was handed a plastic grocery bag that had the table setting which included a sheet of paper and a paper cup. Prices are on par with the expensive pizzerias in the city center (9+ euro for a margarita pizza) so there is no excuse for not having full service. The pizza itself is a thin crust and I felt the crust lacked flavor. I ordered the calabrese pizza which has 3 types of salami on it but I could only see 2 kinds and there was only 6 slices of pepperoni/spicy salami total. The service was friendly and welcoming which gets an extra star.
