Giglio Rosso was born as a simple food shop in 1928, to become over the years the restaurant of today. Its four rooms can accommodate up to 100 people. There are many specialities. Not to be missed among others, the artisanal pasta made every morning but also the famous ribollita al pomodoro, the pappardelle al cinghiale and the fettuccine with porcini funghi, not to mention the fresh fish dishes. Large choice of delicatessen and quality cheeses. The cellar provides the best Tuscan and Italian wines.

L’interno del ristorante è un pochino datato, ma il cibo era buono ed il servizio rapido e attento.
The simplicity of the pasta giglio rosso was great while the green chili pepper steak was pretty tasty and cooked to a perfect medium. The pizza for me was a bit lackluster, a little too floury and just a tad too crispy.
