The San Frediano Gate is part of Florence's fortifications and is located in the Oltrarno district, in the westernmost area named after the homonymous borough. The gate was built in 1332 by the architect Andrea Pisano. Bed and Breakfast Porta San Frediano is housed in a 19th-century building and offers five sober, functional rooms.
