Gianna's is a bed & breakfast located in the historic center of Florence. It's on the second floor of a 14th-century building, unfortunately without an elevator. The 34 steps are divided into four flights and are not steep by Florentine standards. The B&B is close to the Accademia art gallery (home to Michelangelo's statue of David), the San Marco museum, the central San Lorenzo market and the Fortezza da Basso exhibition and trade fair center. The main railway station (Firenze Santa Maria Novella) is a fifteen-minute walk away, and the cathedral a ten-minute walk. Gianna's offers free bookings for tours of the Academy and Uffizi art galleries, but the galleries charge a booking fee of 4.00 euros per person per booking when tickets are purchased. The FIRENZE CARD is valid for 72 hours.
