BORGHESE PALACE ART HOTEL * * * *
Florence is a city of art. And many hotels forget that. Many content themselves with the architecture of their building to link with the past. The Borghese Palace goes further, and makes a ubiquitous tribute to yesterday's art, but also, and above all, to today's, everything that it looks to the future. And this taste for arabesques, for modern symmetries, is found in almost every room. The central glass elevator, steeped in the heart of an old structure, is a beautiful illustration. The artistic red thread continues in the corridors, with the exposed tables or statues that greet the clients. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The multilingual staff is very welcoming and always knows a little about the exhibitions in town. The rooms are equipped with all comforts with air conditioning, plasma TV, hair Dryer… A beautiful reading room is available for guests to organise their excursions or simply to make them rest. The other advantage of the hotel is to count only 25 rooms, which promotes intimacy and avoids the impersonal atmosphere of large hosting chains. A very interesting address.
