OTTANTOTTO

Incredible conversion of an old building, real attention to design detail. And stunning interior design of the rooms. The most beautiful tiny garden too which makes the space feel very special indeed, a welcome breathing space in busy Florence.

We stayed in the Beaton Suite and it was the perfect layout for a family with a teenage daughter. Presented beautifully every day.

The space downstairs is very small but breakfast was cleverly thought out and included all we needed. Excellent quality too. We loved eating in the garden with heat lamps when needed.

But a few things could be improved for this hotel to fully meet the expectations of guests:

1. It doesn’t work when guests have to eat inside - feels like eating in someone’s office! Would be much better if the team clearly led and explained breakfast and greeted guests as they arrived rather than person just sat working behind computer (we felt like we were interrupting). On the one day we were warmly and very confidently greeted at breakfast it made all the difference.

2. Staff need to be on site all day, only there til 1pm at present. There was a major air conditioning problem during our stay and guests needs in general, eg arrival, departure, luggage, taxis etc would be so much better met with one of the team being on site. It is more stressful for the guest than they realise without staff on site.

These small changes would make Ottantotto the perfect stay in Florence as it is an exceptionally beautiful place in a brilliant location. This is definitely my favourite area of Florence and we hope to return.

Beautiful room in a wonderful location. Loved the honesty bar.........breakfast could be better though.

otel Floransanın eski otantik bölgesinde yer alıyor, turistik bölgeden farklı, Floransa küçük olduğu için en uzak turistik bölgeye yürüyerek 30-35 dk ulaşabilirsiniz. Toplu ulaşım da var, bu konuda sorun yaşamadık.
Yakında Pitti Sarayı var.

saat 13.00 dan sonra personel yok, girişi kendiniz yapıyorsunuz, otel bu konuda detaylı bir mail gönderip bilgilendirdi, maili mutlk kontrol edin.

Personel: çok iyiydi

Kahvaltı :
Kahvaltısı zayıf, ama İtalyanın genelinde kahvaltı hamur işi ve kahve olduğundan çok şaşırmadık.
Kahvaltı salonu küçük, çok az seçenek var.

Odalar:
Cadde tarafında üst katta standart odada konakladık, oda ve banyo gayet temizdi, her gün temizleniyor. Zemin kattaki standart oda gürültü olabilir, o odayı rezerve etmediğinizden emin olun.

Güzel bir bahçesi var; çay kahve ve meyve üretsiz.

Yakın Çevre:

Yemek için çevrede güzel yerler var, odanızda da otelin önerdiği liste var.
Yakında Gusta pizza var pizzalar lezzetli ve fiyat uygun, girişte genelde sıra var. Hemen yakınında ikinci bir seçenek gustaosteria var.

Otelin sokağında fine dining restorant da var içecek listesi geniş, yemeklerini çok beğenmedik.

Premessa: chiunque scriva recensioni negative non ha il ben che minimo gusto o esperienza in materia di hotel.
L’ottantotto è esattamente come le foto pubblicate da loro, anzi meglio ancora. È vicino a tutte le principali attrazioni fiorentine. È pulito, di classe, ma soprattutto è accogliente: ci si sente come a casa! Personale cordiale e disponibile. Soggiorno da sogno, il migliore prima! Prezzo in linea con la qualità. Colazione indescrivibile con prodotti fatti in casa e abbondanti!

The staff was fantastic. The receptionists were very helpful and answered all our questions. The room was clean and bright. The location is ideal, close to the centre and every service.
We will definitely be back! Thank you very much.
