IL GUELFO BIANCO ^{* * *}

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with 2 adults in Florence. It's right by a busy street, fantastic location! Lots of stores, restaurants, and sights nearby.

We were greeted warmly from front desk, arriving in early afternoon. Check in was smooth and we were provided with a map of Florence with various landmarks on it. Nice lobby and the back had the area where to eat for breakfast. Shout out to Carlo for recommendations for dinner places to eat at.

The room itself was spacious and clean. Loved the decor and ambience. Bathroom was big as well and provided basic toiletries. There is a vanity area with a bench that you can get ready in, which I thought was super cute. The bed was firm and not as comfortable, but everyone has their own preferences.

We were only able to have one breakfast buffet because we had to go early for an excursion and breakfast didn't start until 730 am. We did request If it was possible to pack a breakfast for us to take which they accommodated!

Breakfast buffet was delicious and lots to choose from! Thanks to Umair for the help. I wish I took a photo of it but didn't think about it because I wanted to eat, lol. It's great that the breakfast is included in the stay at the hotel and that is a huge plus.

Location is amazing, lots of places nearby. The Academia museum was a 5 a minute walk. There is also a bus that comes to the street for public transportation. Check out was smooth and easy and they also called the taxi for us.

I would highly recommend staying here because of the location, safe and clean hotel, buffet breakfast, and the rooms were spacious and I'm sure each room had different decor which would be fun. Could've stayed extra 1 to 2 days here in Florence as so much to do.

Only booked for 2 nights and woke up to a bed bug on the morning of checkout. Notified downstairs sent someone but he only sprayed the luggage not the room. Spoke with Front Desk Manager Francesco Salmeri about never experiencing this issue. His response was that I knew more about it and they’ve never had them before but then contradicted himself and asked If I had bites. Expressed it was hard to enjoy my vacation now that I have to worry about bed bugs. Told me he was unable to do anything since I prepaid and had to discuss with the hotel manager. Asked for my email but never received any follow up response. When I got back from my trip I had to do so much cleaning to prevent an infestation I now need another vacation. DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR AND FIND ANOTHER HOTEL. OTHER WISE BE PREPARED FOR BED BUGS, MOLD, STAINED SHEETS, and DUST!

La posizione è strategica, si può raggiungere ogni angolo della città in pochi minuti a piedi attraversando le zone pedonali. A 5 minuti dalla stazione Santa Maria Novella e a 2 minuti dalla cattedrale si Santa Maria del Fiore.
La struttura è unica, un palazzo storico mozzafiato arricchito da opere in chiave moderna che rendono il soggiorno ancora più entusiasmante.
Lo staff è impeccabile, ogni volta che varcherete la soglia state sicuri che ci sarà un sorriso ad accogliervi e la migliore cura che si possa desiderare.
Complimenti a tutti i membri dello staff, dalla sala colazioni ( sempre ben fornita ) alla reception.

We are so grateful for discovering this marvel right at the heart of the city. Lovely place, calm, warm and fancy decorated, just the perfect spot for a short trip of intense tourism. We must highlight how lovely all the personnel at the reception were with us, very kind, helpful, making suggestions... cute people.
