FIRENZE MARATHON
It is the most popular marathon in Italy, together with the one in Rome. You run while discovering the streets and monuments of Florence.
Italy's second-busiest marathon after Rome! The first edition took place in 1984; November 24, 2024 will be the 40th edition. Numerous participants run the 42.195-kilometer course, discovering the streets, squares and monuments of Florence step by step, on an uneven course of art, history and culture. A not-to-be-missed event on the last Sunday in November for thousands of sports enthusiasts from all over the world. Start: piazza del Duomo. The maximum time to complete the marathon is six hours.
