In the Giardino dell'Iris (piazzale Michelangelo), a mega exhibition and sale of over 2,000 species of multicolored iris. Since 1954, the Municipality of Florence, in collaboration with the Società Italiana dell'Iris, has been organizing this international competition to distinguish the most beautiful blooms. In the garden, workshops to raise awareness of horticultural trades and activities are also available for the whole family.
