TORRE SAN NICCOLÒ
the "Queen of Towers", located on the banks of the Arno River, offers a magnificent view of the city of Florence.
Since 2016, after extensive restoration work, it has been possible to visit the historic tower of San Niccolò, located on the banks of the Arno River. Built around 1324 by Arnolfo di Cambio, it has a defensive architecture that evokes a past time of perpetual conflicts and assaults. It is the only tower in Florence that has maintained its original height, protected by the San Miniato hill. From the top of this last trace of the medieval enclosure that surrounded the city, the view is wonderful.
