CASA BUONARROTI
House transformed into a small museum in memory of the artist Michelangelo in Florence.
Michelangelo bought this house at the end of his life but never lived in it. Today, it has been transformed into a small museum in memory of the artist: sketches, early works, reproductions of works that have disappeared... The Madonna della Scala and the Battle of the Centaurs can be admired here. Even if it is not Michelangelo Buonarroti's birthplace, it is nestled in the heart of a palace dating from 1553 and is still very pleasant to visit. The collections belonging to the house were donated to the city of Florence in 1859.
