Inaugurated in 1874, this covered market was built to meet the growing demand of the population for food products. The structure, more than 145 years later, remains impressive and represents an unmissable visit during your Florentine stay. On the ground floor: this is the best market in the city, with an incredible variety of local products. The first floor, transformed in 2014, is composed of several gourmet stands with regional dishes and products to taste on site. And the icing on the cake is live music on Wednesday evenings!

Et à l'étage des restaurants. Il y a de tout plus ou moins cher. Par contre attention aux samedis soirs c'est bondé et difficile de commander et surtout de trouver une place.
Situé en pleien coeur de Florence et au milieu de boutqiues on découvre Le Marché de Florence .
Au rez de chaussée plein de petites boutiques de pates, d'épices de tomates séchées...Puis un premier étage où on peut manger. J'ai déjeuner là à midi , il y a toutes sortes de petits restos des plus simples et pas trop chers aux plus élaborés et un peu chers.
Il y a également une grande boutique de produits italiens avec à coté une grande salle où on peut prendre des cours de cuisine.
