MUSEO LEONARDIANO
Museum that exhibits the life of Leonardo da Vinci and the models of machines whose plans and projects have come down to us.
Founded in 1952, on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci's birth, the Leonardiano Museum exhibits the life of the Renaissance master and the models of the machines whose plans and projects have come down to us. It is located within the 11th century castle that belonged to the Guidi Counts. There are handwritten annotations and about a hundred models made according to Leonardo da Vinci's drawings (1452-1519). For a journey in the complex but fascinating mind of a genius!
