Nice tavern in the center of Pistoia, in business for over 20 years.

Right in the historic heart of Pistoia, here's a table with charm. The decor is pretty, bright and pleasant. The cuisine is meticulously prepared, respecting the seasons and the principles of the Slow Food movement. The menu boasts traditional dishes, and we should also mention the very good and hearty salads. As an added bonus, there's a wide choice of wines, some even sophisticated, as the owner of this osteria also owns the bottega "I Sapori della Botte Gaia", located in via di Stracceria, just 20 metres away.

Siamo stati in questo locale un Sabato sera, in un gruppo di cinque coppie. Ci hanno assegnato il turno delle 2130, che ci ha permesso di goderci la serata con calma, in una sala a noi riservata. Buona l'attenzione riservataci dai camerieri nel rispondere a tutte le nostre esigenze per una cena rivelatasi perfetta.
Pici cacio e pepe con carciofi, molto buoni. Ottime fiorentine e petto d'anatra. Battuta molto delicata. Tutti noi rimasti molto soddisfatti dal cibo e dalla cordialità del servizio. Tra i dolci menzione d'onore per la torta di mele tiepida con crema inglese.

Ottimo posto dove si mangia bene con cose anche particolari e senza spendere cifre assurde. Buono anche il vino rosso di Pistoia. Consigliato per chi vuole quel qualcosa in più. Peccato per il poco posto interno.
