As the years go by, Montebuoni remains THE sure bet in the Florence area. Former chef in France, Emilio renews his menu to present the best of Tuscany. Concerned about the quality of the products, he himself buys them and designs all the plates. The house is untreatable on freshness. A dish of pappardelle, Tuscan pasta, to start with. Then ask for snails, tuna or the excellent nirvetti (knee nerve) lying on toast. Moreover, on the markets of Florence, Emilio's recipe is sold.

Just 1 guy and the chef, Emilio. They were super busy, but very sweet and accommodating. They really are passionate about the food. By far the best meal we had in Italy. The drive in was a little scary—I don’t recommend following Apple Maps. We still talk about this meal, so I decided to write a review months later. Poor image quality but we didn’t want to wait to take the perfect photo. Haha

Pranzo di matrimonio, il mio....siamo stati coccolati in mille modi. Persone eccezionali.
Dal proprietario alla moglie, dallo staff ai cuochi...di Emilio e tutto lo staff si può dire solo una cosa....la prima volta lo si scopre e poi ci torna, e ci si ritorna e si torna e si ritorna...♥️
E poi c' è una vista mozzafiato....d'estate e d'inverno... perché quando un luogo è bello lo è sempre

Una cena che poteva essere perfetta, ma, ad ogni portata mancava qualcosa........crostini con pane pietrificato, altri antipasti privi di condimento, i primi: paccheri al ragù di tonno crudi, garganelli all'astice praticamente sfatti, fritto che definire insipido è già tanto.....tagliata di tonno buonissima e ben cotta,
unica portata degna di nota positiva.
Veramente un peccato perché le materie prime erano di qualità.
