This former abbey is worth a visit, both for its architecture and its wine. Located at an altitude of 600 metres, on the line separating Chianti from Valdarno, the abbey is dedicated to San Lorenzo di Coltibuono. It was built in 1049 by Firidolfi, according to a Latin cross plan. It is one of the happiest Romanesque achievements in Chianti. In this agritourism, you can stay in peace and quiet, enjoy a meal in the old stables, participate in a cooking class or a guided tour of the estate, or even a wine tasting. Don't forget to book!
