Siena Taxi Drivers's Consortium is a cab cooperative in Siena. Founded in 1980, it manages the city's cab service and strives to improve and modernize the cab service in Siena. The cooperative has 55 cars, including one specially equipped for transporting disabled people. It is approved to transport 1,500 wheelchairs. Of the 55 cars, 15 are hybrids, one is fully electric and 4 are vans. The cooperative is able to meet all types of travel requirements, including suburban destinations. It employs 60 drivers, some of whom are fluent in English, French, German and Spanish. Their priority is customer satisfaction, and they also offer a charter bus service to meet all types of demand in the area.
