The Chartreuse de Pontignano, steeped in a rich history, is a wonderful place whose owner has reserved part of it for hospitality, a nod to the tradition of monasteries. What can I say... surprising, fascinating, a return to the roots and humility. Inside the cloister are the rooms, large and bright, with a view of the delicious Italian garden. The apartments occupy the ancient monks' cells. Comfort has entered the monastery but not superfluous. All this 15 minutes from the centre of Siena!

No tengo suficientes elogios para este sitio, ha sido una estancia inolvidable enmedio de campos de olivos a dos pasos de Siena y a una relación calidad-precio insuperable. Tan relajante que dos noches me han sabido a muy poco. El servicio excelente y muy amable, gracias por mejorar aún más la experiencia!! Las camas son muy cómodas y la habitación es amplia. No perdáis la oportunidad de pasear por los jardines y por los interiores, así como descubrir la bonita capilla, vale mucho la pena. El desayuno es super completo y delicioso, asi como los platos del restaurante. Probamos el pici de ragú y la pizza ortolana (veggie), para chuparse los dedos. También muy recomendable el vino de la zona y por supuesto el aceite de oliva que hacen allí mismo. Nos llevamos un par de botellitas. Volveremos seguro!!!!

Andati per il pranzo di Pasqua... cibo molto buono, servizio anche, camerieri gentili, simpatici.
Il posto é bellissimo anche se un restauro in qualche area non sarebbe male.
Le vecchie celle dei monaci ora sono camere di albergo.

Cmq vale assolutamente la pena andare a visitare il posto. Un gioiellino veramente
