Some travel magazines sometimes look for gardens to illustrate their articles. They could perfectly take part in the Garden Hotel. At the end of the afternoon, it's a pleasure to walk along the paths of the small park! On the front of this hotel outside the walls of the old town, a space is reserved for the swimming pool. The latter leaves a little to be desired at the maintenance level, compared with the splendor of the rest of the property. On the side of the rooms, their size and equipment are appreciable. The decoration, however, seems a little dated. Fortunately, the enchanting surroundings of the villa catch up with this false note. Thanks to its success, the hotel has been able to expand and build two other buildings with 50 and 23 rooms. The hotel also has a very good restaurant, open to all meals. Breakfast in the form of a full buffet, until dinner, the delivery is of very high quality, all the while it is easy to enjoy the beautiful flowered terrace.

Firstly we arrived in the rain and no one would help us with our suitcases or even give us a trolley to wheel it down to our room which was quite far.
For a 4 star hotel also, the rooms are outdated and look like a grandmothers old house with no amenities inside.
We called reception and kindly asked the front desk for a knife to cut salami and they brought up a butter knife.
After realising this was the case I called reception and asked if I could please have a sharper knife because I needed it to cut salami as mentioned prior- And they brought a better knife.
About 30 mins later I realised there were no cups or wine glasses in the room and my husband and I wanted to have a glass of wine (and I have never stayed in a “4 star hotel” that Dosent have glassware in the room anyway)
Reception tells me to call the bar which was a 3 meter walk from the reception desk.
I call the bar and the man brings the glasses.
After he brings them to me he say “that will be a 6 euro charge”
I said for what?
He said “for me to bring them to you room”
I said I just wanted glasses to have a drink.
He says “you want a knife, then another knife, now glasses so that will be 6 euro”
There was a lot of rudeness and attitude in the tone and I have never experienced this at a hotel. So I called reception to argue this and tell them you don’t say this after the fact; especially when there should be glassware in rhe room anyway and he was quite argumentive but agreed to wipe the charge at the end because I told him to come and collect his glasses if that’s the case.
I also just wanted a glass of ice and I knew better then to call reception so I walked to the front desk to ask. I kindly asked the woman at the front and she said to ask the bar ???? I stood at the bar for 5 minutes and there were 3 men about 10m away who saw me and ignored me. So I walked out and the woman saw me walk out empty handed and didn’t even care to ask.
Also just went to plug in our universal adapter and the PowerPoints don’t fit and they had only 1 adaptor to give us that fits their PowerPoint. We have done so much travelling by the way and have never experienced this
By the way I have only been here for 4 hours and never written a bad review in my life.
So definetly don’t recommend
