One of Italy's finest youth hostels, housed in a former convent near Volterra, with around 20 rooms.

This is undoubtedly one of Italy's finest youth hostels. Housed in a former 13th-century convent, it boasts some twenty rooms of varying sizes, some of which can accommodate up to six people, bed linen included. The lobby has little to envy the best hotels in the region. The magnificent cloister is accessible to guests, from breakfast to relaxing afternoons (with hydromassage and solarium, please!) and for sunset aperitifs. A wonderful surprise.

Sehr gutes Hostal mit einem aussergewöhnlichen Ambiente. Ein Muss für jeden, der in der Toskana übernachten möchte. Am Abend wird sehr gutes Essen serviert. Insgesamt sehr nettes Personal! Danke, für den tollen Aufenthalt.

War jeweils zum Abendessen dort. Im ehemaligen Kreuzgang wird eine feine toskanische Küche aufgetischt. Ahh, die Lasagne... Ich hätte am liebsten den secondo sein lassen und noch einen primo bestellt ????

Ein schönes Hotel fußläufig ca 15 Minuten von der Altstadt von Volterra mit Gaststätten und Geschäften entfernt. Das Hotel befindet sich in einem alten Kloster aus dem 13.Jahrhundert .Schöne Zimmer mit großem Bad. Nettes Personal .Gutes Frühstück, Wurst ,Rührei Und süße Sachen. Abendessen ist auch verfügbar nach Anfrage .Also alles in allem ein Hotel das man weiter empfehlen kann .Parkplätze befinden sich kostenlos am Hotel .

Cette auberge de jeunesse est installée dans un ancien couvent franciscain datant du 15ème siècle. C'est un très bel endroit, extrêmement calme et serein, avec des dortoirs spacieux avec salle de bain intégrée. Mention spéciale au cloître très agréable où se reposer un peu ou lire un bon livre et à la grande salle utilisée pour le petit déjeuner (en supplément) avec ses grandes fresques. L'auberge est un peu excentrée du centre historique de Volterra, mais il est quand même possible de s'y rendre à pied en 15 minutes environ. Bon point : l'auberge dispose d'un parking gratuit (commodité parfois dure à trouver en Italie) et les tarifs des dortoirs sont très raisonnables (18/20 €). Une bonne adresse pour les voyageurs à petit budget !
