It's not here that you have to come to find the best kitchen in the city, far from it. Frozen lasagna, for example, do not deserve better than the words'fair '. We visit the surroundings of San Gimignano each year and always pay a visit (or two) to La Biscondola. Good food for a reasonable price and we always order the excellent Bruschetta. Nice and quiet corner just out of the busy main street and you can still see all the people walking by. I can understand the comments made in other reviews about the owner, but to us it’s like watching a real life Italian episode of ‘Fawlty Towers’ and part of the entertainment ????
