Cosy B&B with rooms in a quiet area, even though it is near the main pedestrian street of San Gimignano

This B&B is located within the city walls, precisely on the Via Francigena, and was born out of the need to build a hospital for pilgrims on their way to Rome, named Donna Nobile at the time. As a tribute to its history, the owner has kept this name and created a warm and welcoming B&B. The rooms are tastefully decorated. The area is quiet, yet only 80 meters from San Gimignano's main pedestrian street (with access by car to drop off luggage). The owner is extremely cordial and knows how to meet the varied needs of her guests.

Une seule nuit (heureusement) très décevante. Nous sommes arrivées vers 18h15 avec une chaleur excessive, aucune bouteille d’eau dans la chambre. Le propriétaire n’était pas sur les Lieux, J’ai du appeler et nous avons attendu 10 à 15 minutes dans le rue. Accueil très froid et robotisé du patron. Une fois les papiers officiels donnés nous sommes allées dans la Chambre, qui ne ressemble pas du tout aux photos de booking (pas de plafond en bois). Nuit agitée, des gens ont crié dans la rue, le matin je branche la bouilloire de la chambre, cela a fait disjoncter l’électricité. Plus de lumière, il a fallu appeler au téléphone les propriétaires car ils n’habitent pas sur place. Résultat pas de lumière pendant au moins 30 minutes et aucune excuse à la suite de cela. Nous avons donc quitter l’établissement à 9h du matin vraiment déçue de cette nuit à San Gimignano.
