Cosy B&B with rooms in a quiet area, even though it is near the main pedestrian street of San Gimignano

This B&B is located within the city walls, precisely on the Via Francigena, and was born out of the need to build a hospital for pilgrims on their way to Rome, named Donna Nobile at the time. As a tribute to its history, the owner has kept this name and created a warm and welcoming B&B. The rooms are tastefully decorated. The area is quiet, yet only 80 meters from San Gimignano's main pedestrian street (with access by car to drop off luggage). The owner is extremely cordial and knows how to meet the varied needs of her guests.

Posizione centrale a San Gimignano... il gestore gentilissimo ci ha consegnato la camera in anticipo rispetto all'orario concordato... camera doppia con bagno ampia e pulita e in cucina l'occorrente in caso di bisogno... prezzo piu' che onesto rispetto agli altri alloggi centrali. Consigliato

I showed up and rang the bell and there was nobody there. Had to stand around, in an alley and wait for someone to show up. Room had bugs in it, TV remote had to batteries, and the air came on and blew hot air. Huge language barrier and man was not helpful. Had to call family to come get me since I couldn't get any assistance from him.
