The city of San Gimignano boasts one of the most advanced contemporary art galleries in Italy! Housed in an old movie theater, Galleria Continua was founded in 1990 by three friends: Mario Cristiani, Lorenzo Fiaschi and Maurizio Rigillo. With a solid reputation, it exhibits, among others, Kiki Smith, Anish Kapoor, Etel Adnan... and now has branches in France (in Paris and Boissy-le-Châtel), Beijing and Cuba.
