Πήγαμε για φαγητό στη La Taverna και περιηγηθήκαμε και γύρω από το ξενοδοχείο χωρίς να μείνουμε για διανυκτέρευση. Πολύ όμορφος και περιποιημένος χώρος με άνετο και φροντισμένο πάρκινγκ. Έχει και φορτιστή για ηλεκτρικά μοντέλα αυτοκινήτων!

Leider keine Chance auch nur einen Imbiss zu bekommen. Eigentlich wollte ich hier viel von meinem Lieblingswein kaufen. Aber wir hatten extrem Hunger und mussten etwas zu essen kaufen.

The Restaurant is a must have experience, a balanced menu coupled with the best wines from the Banfi selection.
If you are travelling near Siena and you are passionate about wines, Banfi is a must. Here you can find some of the best Brunello di Montalcino bottles. I did bot try the hotel rooms, so i can't rate them, anyway think about a lunch in the Taverna.

Waren nur zum Weinkaufen dort. Super schönes Anwesen. Auch die Verkäuferin war super nett und hat uns alles erklärt bzw. probieren lassen. Die Weine sind natürlich Geschmackssache ;-) uns schmecken sie aber super gut

This is a beautiful property but not at all breathtaking as you see in photos. Wine was fine. Not great. Good history however. Would not go back.

Castello Banfi Il Borgo is a great place to explore the Montalcino area. Il Borgo offers spacious rooms, two great restaurants and fantastic views of the country side. It's location makes it easy to visit other towns.
