L'ORO DI MONTALCINO
The Sant'Agostino museum center offers a variety of spaces, including a museum of sacred art and a sensory trail linked to Brunello.
The 13th-century Sant'Agostino convent is now a multi-purpose place of discovery. A church, a cloister with a bookshop, two museums, a bistro-oenotheque and finally a course dedicated to one of the world's most famous Italian wines, Brunello! What a setting! Among the recommended visits, the Museum of Sacred Art exhibits a collection of paintings by the Sienese school of the 14th (see the Coronation of the Virgin by Bartolo di Fredi) and 15th centuries. An artistic heritage that allows visitors to learn more about the city's Etruscan origins.
