Ideally located between piazza dei Miracoli and piazza dei Cavalieri, a stone's throw from the Tower, this small family-run restaurant has a simple, unpretentious front, but as soon as the plates arrive, it's easy to be charmed by the flavors of Tuscan gastronomy. On the menu, stocked with quality ingredients: pici (hand-rolled pasta resembling large spaghetti), beef tagliata, ricotta and spinach ravioli, mushrooms and truffles in season... Served in a lovely vaulted setting by a friendly team.

Pranzo appena terminato, abbiamo preso un tagliere da dividere, due pici al ragù di cinghiale e un raviolo con tartufo e porcini. Tutto veramente ottimo, cameriere cordiale e gentile. Se passate di qui entrate.

Ristorante non turistico consigliato dal taxi che ci ha portati in centro…piatti della tradizione cucinati bene e materie prime di qualità. Consigliato!

It was good. Food and service. The price is fair enough. Just don't be lazy and walk 100 meters from 'tower area'. You will open a real Pisa for yourself.

Très chouette restaurant, la cuisine est bonne, nous avons commandé les pâtes à la tomate et les raviolis à la truffe, peu de choix mais des produits de qualité.
Rien à redire sur le personnel, qui est très aimable. Nous avons été servis rapidement.

Ottimo cibo, anzi fenomenale! Antipasto misto da paura. Tagliata di manzo super saportita e tenera. Peposo molto buono. La prova del nove? Il piccolo di 3 anni ha preso una semplice pasta al ragù di manzo, beh cottura della pasta perfetta e ragù gustosissimo. I dessert? Che ve lo dico a fare.
Ambiente pulito e fuori dalla bolgia dei turisti, personale super disponibile e gentile, così come il proprietario. Da consigliare e sicuramente da tornarci se siamo di nuovo in zona. Complimenti!
