VILLA TORRIGIANI
The superb Villa Torrigiani in Camigliano, with its romantic garden, is a listed National Monument.
Classified as a national monument, the superb Renaissance Villa of Torrigiani was built in the second half of the 16th century for the Buonvisi marquises. Its sumptuous English-style park was redesigned in the 19th century according to the original of the 17th century. The villa is distinguished by the twenty or so statues that occupy its beautiful yellow theatrical façade, which heralds the richness of the interior style, with frescos (by Scorzini and Dandini), collections and original furniture. A large place is left here for the expression of Baroque art.
