This small restaurant with terrace is located in Portoferraio's famous Piazza della Repubblica, a historic square formerly called Piazza d'Armi during the Medici era, when the city was then called Cosmopoli. The place doesn't look like much, it's true, but the atmosphere here is very local, picturesque even, and the cuisine is typical. A warm welcome from the owner, and then it's up to you to discover the maritime specialties, in particular, offered by the home-made menu. Don't hesitate to let yourself be guided by the suggestions of the day, depending on the return from fishing.

Ausgezeichnete Speisen!
Meeresfrüchte waren frisch und schmeckten erstklassig.
Ich hatte Muscheln als Vorspeise & Gambas zum Hauptgang!
Meine Frau Thunfischcarpaccio !!! und anschl.
Pasta Aragosta (Hummer).
Es war wirklich alles hervorragend und sehr zu empfehlen!

Nettes Ambiente

Nur der Service war etwas unfreundlich ...
Trotzdem, oder eher genau deshalb, ein authentisches kleines Ristorante.

Ottima esperienza, cucina classica senza pretese da ristorante stellato ma proprio quello che cercavamo. Antipasti ottimi ( antipasto di mare), primi ( purtroppo terminata la pasta fresca) abbiamo optato per paccheri ( astice e tonno) ottimi i sughi e la cottura della pasta. Frittura mista buona e la paranza ottima. Presso onestissimo. Servizio impeccabile. Torneremo sicuramente

Ich hatte die Bruscetta und die Gnocci. Ersteres war verbrannt und auf den zweiten Gang mussten wir weit über eine Stunde warten. Zudem enthielten die vegetarischen Gnocci Reste von Schalentieren.
