On the Ghiaie beach, a historic restaurant offering an affordable menu, a clever blend of tradition and originality.
There are places that have kept their soul intact over time. Such is the case of La Bussola, a piece of Portoferraio's history and a meeting point for generations of locals and tourists alike. Its terrace on the Ghiaie beach was the dance floor for summer evenings in the 80s. Today, the restaurant has been renewed, and chef Filippo offers an affordable menu, a clever mix of traditional dishes (octopus, cacciucco, fish carpaccio) and more unusual ones (spaghetti with tuna ventresca or three fish eggs).
