MUSEO ARCHEOLOGICO DELLA LINGUELLA
Museum housing objects from the Etruscan and Roman periods in the old Medici salt storehouses.
In the former salt warehouses of the Medicis, this museum houses objects from the Etruscan and Roman periods, recovered at sea and excavations on the Tuscan archipelago, proving the important role of the Elbe in trade in the Mediterranean. Among the rare pieces: the second century granite Ara d'Attiano and the anchor of the Montecristo wreck. A single ticket exists for the archaeological museum, the Vigilanti theatre, Fort Falcone and the Medici fortresses, valid for 7 days.
