On the second floor of the Forte Inglese, a small museum that promotes the extraordinary environmental heritage of the Tuscan islands.
Opened in 2019, the Nat-Lab Museum is located on the second floor of the Forte Inglese, situated on top of the San Rocco hill in Portoferraio. The place is presented as a small naturalist laboratory that preserves entomological, zoological and botanical collections of the Tuscan archipelago. Its objective? To promote the extraordinary environmental heritage of the National Park of the Tuscan Archipelago, a territory recognized as a Biosphere Reserve within the framework of the UNESCO MaB Program.
