SPIAGGIA DELLA PADULELLA
Beautiful gulf that is among the famous of the north coast of Portoferraio.
Padulella is one of the famous spiagge bianche (white beaches) on Portoferraio's north coast. This magnificent gulf, sheltered from the sirocco, surrounds 180 meters of white pebble beach and crystal-clear water. The cliffs of Padulella are formed of eurite, the white, crumbly clay rock from which kaolin (an ingredient in porcelain) is obtained.
Smart tip: you can park your car at the Capo Bianco beach parking lot (for a fee), then walk to Padulella (a few dozen metres).
