Family-run trattoria-pizzeria with a large original terrace, decorated with different tables (wooden, marble, terracotta...) and refreshed by a pleasant sea air. Simple, fresh cuisine at reasonable prices. The service is not constant, however. But the focaccia is unbeatable! The wood-fired pizzas are a great success. For dessert, a schiaccia briaca (typical cake from Elba), made by the mamma, is to try! Claudio Caffieri has been in charge of the Mambo for many years and is a well-known figure in Rio Marina.

And indeed (I know others said it too) you *must* try the panna cotta desert. I thought I wasn't fond of that desert, until I tasted Mambo's one, and then I could not stop asking for more! Make sure you book beforehand, the place is packed, and rightly so!
If into liqueurs, you should also try Mambo's Amaro (digestive) it's very tasty (somewhat similar to Jagermeister).
Great place overall, must try!
