Opened in 2013, this museum dedicated to iron and cast iron, nicknamed "Magma", is housed in the restored spaces of Forno San Ferdinando, one of the oldest buildings in the city. It traces the different stages of metal processing, from extraction to final processing, from the Etruscan era to the present day. On the first floor, artistic pieces are exhibited, highlighting the high degree of sophistication achieved by Follonica's foundries.
