Hotel facing the sea with comfortable rooms with view
Facing the sea, this hotel is ideally located. It is good to think of asking for a room with a view. Possibility of half board, but it is better to go to downtown restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. Since prices triple in August, this month is to be avoided because the rate is exorbitant for the hotel's prestige.

We had a confirmed reservation at Hotel La Caletta for 1 night. Because they could sell our room for more nights to someone else, the hotel unilaterally canceled the reservation. We were offered a poor alternative in another hotel. If we had booked this other hotel ourselves, it would have been cheaper than the proposal from Hotel La Caletta. These are fraudulent practices and my advice is to absolutely not book a room here.

Très bonne cuisine, bien relevée, produits frais, et portions copieuses. Cadre idyllique, très belle vue, nombreuses tables et coins cosy très adaptés à la dégustation d'un vin ou cocktail. Personnel aux petits soins. À recommander, autant le restaurant que l'hôtel. 6 étoiles pour l'emplacement !

Buon albergo con posizione invidiabile, di fatto al centro di S.Stefano. Direttamente sul mare con spiaggia attigua.
Prima colazione molto abbondante,con ampia scelta.
Stanze non grandi in compenso ben curate e tutte vista mare.

Die Zimmer sind sehr klein und spartanisch eingerichtet. Sehr negativ fiel der Ablaufgestank im Badezimmer auf. Um das Gepäck in das Zimmer zu befördern, muss man eine steile Wendeltreppe hinunter und Hilfe vom Personal kann man keine erwarten.
Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt ebenfalls zu wünschen übrig, es gibt zum Beispiel keine frischen Früchte zum Müesli. Hinzu kommt, dass man sich nicht selbst bedienen kann, sondern seine Wünsche einzeln der Bedienung mitteilen muss, die einem das dann auf den Teller legt.
Angesichts des hohen Preises stimmt das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis nicht!
Hinweis an die Hotelleitung: die Fotos im Internet entsprechen überhaupt nicht mehr der Realität, insbesondere die Fotos des Frühstücksbuffet, wo alles, u.a. frisches Obst, in Selbstbedienung verfügbar ist.
