Square, surrounded by various interesting buildings, at the end of Corso Vannucci in Perugia.
Located at the end of Corso Vannucci, the square is surrounded by various interesting and very eclectic buildings: the rocca Paolina (built in the 16th century on the ruins of the Casa dei Baglioni), designed by Antonio da Sangallo the Younger on a commission from Paolo III; the Palazzo del Governo, the Bank of Italy building and the Carducci Gardens, the city's main green space. The latter are dedicated to Giosue Carducci, who found the inspiration for his poem Il Canto dell'Amore. The gardens offer a splendid view of the surroundings.
