ORATORIO DI SAN FRANCESCO DEI NOBILI
This oratory is one of the most representative monuments of the influence of the Baroque style in Perugia.
It is one of the most representative monuments of the influence of the Baroque style in Perugia. In the vestibule of the oratory there are precious stuccoes by the Frenchman Jean Regnaud (known as Giovanni di Sciampagna) and the most important collection of paintings by G. A. Scaramuccia (1611-1627). Also worthy of note is the church banner (gonfalon) made by Pietro Galeotto, which evokes the Flagellation (1480). A moment out of time!
