An address to discover to better understand the history of Deruta.
This museum is an essential step in understanding the history of the city. Built in 1898 with the aim of explaining the role that ceramics played in the industrialization of the region, the museum as it can be visited in its modern structure was inaugurated in 1998, inside the walls of the former convent of San Francesco, and restored in 2007. Nearly 6,000 pieces are on display. The craft techniques of the time are well explained.
