MUSEO DEL DUOMO
Museum exhibiting a collection of sacred objects, gold and silverware and paintings in Citta di Castello.
The Duomo presents a mixture of Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque styles. The Renaissance interior houses a Trasfigurazione by Rosso Fiorentino, among others. The large museum juxtaposed to it exhibits on 2 floors and twelve rooms (about 800 sqm) important sacred objects, goldsmith's art (the treasure of Canascio) and famous paintings, such as those of Giulio Romano with Angelo, or the Madonna col Bambino e San Giovannino of Pinturicchio. With the Pass Ecclesia Card (7 €), you will have access to a reduced rate for several establishments in the city, including the Pinacoteca.
