Museum preserving a beautiful collection of works of worship in Assisi.
A visit to the Basilica's Treasure Museum complements the visit to the famous place of worship, which already houses many works of art. It exhibits various objects of worship, including an ivory Madonna con Bambino (Virgin and Child), 17th century Murano glass works and fragments of the Holy Cross. It houses the Perkins Collection (donated by Frederick Mason Perkins), which forms a major collection of Italian art from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance.
