These springs are heavenly: a small lake, a few islets with weeping willows and poplars. At 1 km from the springs, on the Flaminia state road, the Tempietto del Clitunno, or Church of S. Salvatore, presents a refined architecture of the 4th or 5th century Paleochristian type. The springs are the result of the works designed by Paul Campello della Spina, who between 1860 and 1865 enlarged the lake, making room for the surrounding vegetation to grow as he wished. It is ideal if you are with your family with your children.
