ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM
Archaeological museum with sculptures of the first and second centuries, in the old monastery in Spoleto.
Located in the old Benedictine monastery of Sant'Agata, near Piazza della Libertà, the archaeological museum has four floors of sculptures from the first and second centuries, a small collection of bronze jewelry from the seventh century, as well as finds from research in the necropolises of the area. The museum also allows access to the Roman theater, built in the first century AD and updated at the end of the 19th century, which is used for the Festival of the Two Worlds and other shows during the summer.
