MUSEO DEL TARTUFO "PAOLO URBANI" (PAOLO URBANI MUSEUM)
Founded in 1852, Urbani Tartufi is one of the largest truffle sellers in the world. In the main square of the charming village of Scheggino, this museum, opened in 2012 in memory of Paolo Urbani, founder of this empire and disappeared two years earlier, allows visitors to immerse themselves in the world of truffles, a mushroom that makes all lovers dream, and to learn more about the Urbani family. Fine gourmets will not forget to visit the small shop where sauces, olive oils with truffles, tapenades and even surprising sweets, such as truffle chocolates, are all part of the gourmet experience!
