DUOMO
A beautiful cathedral, in Romanesque-Gothic style, in the Piazza del Popolo in Todi.
In Piazza del Popolo stands the Duomo, or cattedrale della Santissima Annunziata, in Romanesque-Gothic style. Begun in the 12th century and reworked between the 13th and 16th centuries, Todi's cathedral has a beautiful façade and a magnificent Romanesque rose window dating from the time of Bishop Basil Moscardi (1515). The three-aisled interior houses a remarkable 16th-century Giudizio Universale(Last Judgement) attributed to Ferraù di Faenza, a magnificent wooden choir built between 1521 and 1530 by Antonio Bencivenga, and a crypt that is well worth a visit.
